As the remainder of Temple of the Silent Storm’s PvP tournament week comes to its extended end, Tyler Bearce, one of GW2′s Game Designers had a developer blog for us detailing a few hints for fans of the game’s structured PvP tournament system. Next week we will see another rotation using the single match 2-team system, this time taking place on “The Battle of Kyhlo” map. He also announced that ArenaNet is hard at work on testing a matchmaking system for structured PvP:
“A number of players have mentioned that while they like our new tournament format, they’d be much happier if we also had matchmaking. So we are happy to inform you that we have begun testing our ratings and matchmaking system. Currently in-game, players are rated based on their performance and teams are matched based on those ratings. However, this system is still being tested and tuned; we’ll have more information about this in future updates.”
