gw2 crafting guide title

Recently while leveling up a new character, I was looking for a way to get the job done faster. Sure the game is fast enough, but if you’ve seen the content you want to hit max level as fast as possible. There are many methods to speed leveling, from running the Centaur Loop in western Kessex Hills at lower levels, to grinding NPCs in the WvW Borderlands. But nothing is as fast as crafting your way to success.

Leveling up a craft from 0 to 400 nets you 10 easy levels and we’ve found some guides by Qorthos that give you a shopping list of goods and instructions on how to level these the most efficient way.

Cooking is by far the easiest and cheapest if you have a character that can access a few karma vendors in some level 60-70 areas. The total cost will vary depending on the Trading Post, but the average is around 2 gold or so. The second least expensive is make Jewelery where the net cost is around 3-4 gold depending on how much you can sell your product for.

The guides link above also provide you with estimated costs in the spreadsheet so you can get an idea of what it’s going to cost you. All in all, you’re going to spend on average 3-5 gold on most professions and up to 7-9 gold on a few of the more expensive ones.

So if you’ve got some gold to spare, or some cash to buy diamonds with, this is the best way to roll up a new main or alt.
