Today we see a a Dev Blog from Martin Kerstein, the Community Team Lead and German Community Manager, regarding how Arena Net will help forge and foster the community around Guild Wars 2. From his blog, we take this quote out as the biggest news of the day:
Let me point out the two biggest changes in the ways we interact with our communities between the original Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2 right up front: we will have official forums, and we will not have a traditional fansite program.
We can’t wait to watch and see how the community grows after a million people signed up for Beta Events just a few weeks ago.
